Kaptain Kaizen

ByQ

Let me tell you a little something about John Hayes. John Hayes is a mighty giant of quiet kindness. He is well-read and well-liked. And his actual, totally real job title is “Johnny Appleseed.”

Now, let me tell you a little something about our weekly report. Four times a month, we circulate a company newsletter that consists of updates from each department. Mostly, it’s important sales reports and projections. But there are also a few extra features; garden updates, photos of Bill’s kids, and the “John Hayes' Weekly Nugget.”

Finally, I’ll tell you a little bit about Kaizen. Kaizen is this transformative Japanese business philosophy that we – and lots of other companies – have employed to keep us in tip-top shape. Basically, you pull together a bunch of people to analyze an area of operation, and together you find a way improve upon it. We’ve dedicated Kaizen time to processes both big and small, and it’s totally changed our business. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it’s kind of like a religion, and we’re all converts. But none more than Serg, our trusty Kaizen Kaptain. He’s totally obsessed.

And now, without further ado, I present to you a snippet from John Hayes’ most recent submission to our weekly report. We thought it was pretty great, and hope you do too. It’s top secret though, so don’t share it with anyone.

Thanks a Bunch!
