You know when you don’t respond to an email or text for so long that what would have been an easy task – just responding – feels super insurmountable and you get all in your head about it and then the hole you’re in gets deeper and deeper until finally you crack and you send something silly by way of an explanation which helps you get the conversation going again and finally a huge weight is lifted off your shoulders and you wonder what took you so long in the first place? This post is kind of like that. Annnd here we go:

A lot has happened since the last post. 6 month’s worth of a lot. The entire company went to New York City to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We had two full product releases, which means like 125 new products. A marching band came to our holiday party. And in between we made t-shirts, terrariums, and a bunch of cardboard signs, said goodbye to Michelle, put together 120 page catalog and wrote a collaborative free-style rap for Seth’s birthday. But that’s not what I want to talk about today. Today I want to talk about foot rests.

Foot rests are the best, guys. If you don’t have one, I highly suggest you find one. The great thing about foot rests is that you can rest your foot on basically anything. Here in the office, we’ve got an eclectic collection – and they’re extra important because lots of us sit in chairs at standing-height desks, and without them our feet would just dangle in a wholly unergonomic way. But, they don’t! Instead they lean on metal boxes, old TVs, amputated piano legs and stool-dictionary towers which happily add color and limb support to our lives. So here’s a shout out to the foot rests of the Q – we love you dear foot rests, thanks for everything you do.
