  • Call or fax your order to Blue Q, or better yet, contact your local sales rep (US and Canada). Our reps rock! However if your rep is on a 400 mile road trip and you need immediate gratification, we would love to hear from you. Call us up now, what are you waiting for? We do not offer on-line wholesale ordering at the moment, not sure why, but we just don't.
  • All new customers must be approved by the local sales rep to insure there are no territorial conflicts. This process can take a few days if you submit your order directly to us.
  • If your store is located outside of the US or Canada, we may have a stocking distributor in your country. Refer to the "Find your local sales rep or distributor" section or call customer service.
  • Your account can be set to accept or cancel backorders, let us know what you prefer. We charge the marginal incremental freight amount on all backorders, so there is no additional freight penalty for receiving backorders. If you do not specify a preference, your account will be set to accept backorders.
  • Minimum opening order is $250. Reorder minimum is $150.

Credit & Payment

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for all orders shipping to a US address or overseas. In Canada, we accept Visa, and  MasterCard.
  • Customers can apply for Net 30 terms if they have been in business by the current owner for at least one year by submitting a credit sheet with at least four active major vendor references, bank account information, owners name, address and any other information we may find amusing. The process of being accepted for terms can take up to four weeks.
  • All payments should be mailed to:
  • Customers with terms are required to pay their outstanding balances by the invoice due date or risk having their terms revoked. Invoices are sent via mail within 4 business days of orders being shipped. We are able to e-mail your invoice if you request it.
  • If your account is past due, subsequent orders will be held, possibly until hell freezes over.
  • If hell freezes over and you still refuse to pay your invoice, Blue Q reserves the right to turn over your account to a collection agency and/or attorney. All reasonable collection and attorney fees will be added to the outstanding balance.
  • We charge a $20.00 fee for all returned checks.
  • Orders shipped to Canada are invoiced in Canadian Dollars. If you would like to consider bartering for Montreal bagels or smoked meat sandwiches, please drop us a line with your proposal including transit refrigeration.


  • We ship all orders UPS Ground unless another method is specified. All freight charges are added to your merchandise invoice. You may request UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or 3 Day service for rush orders.
  • Most approved orders are shipped within 48 hours. Air shipments are shipped the same day if the order is placed by 12:00 PM EST.
  • All orders are shipped from our Pittsfield MA warehouse. Please give us your email address so we can send you a ship notice when your order ships.
  • We ship to Canada using UPS consolidated service. Blue Q pays all duty and clearance charges.
  • If your shipment arrives damaged, please call Blue Q customer service within 5 days and save all packaging. Damages must be reported within 5 business days of receiving your shipment or Blue Q absolves itself of any liability.

  • We include your store listing on the Where To Buy section of our website if your store meets the following criteria:
  • No outstanding overdue invoices.
  • Have done at least $750 of business with Blue Q in the past 12 months.
  • Have a storefront.
  • You buy directly from Blue Q. If you buy from a distributor, you will not be listed because we don't know about you, so sad.
  • Are nice to us.


  • Blue Q does not accept returns unless the product is defective or an error was made by Blue Q or sales rep. And as everyone knows, we have never made a mistake, well maybe once but that was Trevor's fault because we let him pack orders once. If a shipping error was made, and you think Trevor was responsible, please contact customer service so we can punish him properly.

Sales Reps

  • Blue Q's sales reps rock! Get one today, come on they're free, we pay them, not you. They will sometimes bring you coffee and candy as shameless bribes and then show you all the latest Blue Q creations. If you love them, call and tell us why. If they piss you off, like showing up 2 hours late for an appointment, call us about that too. All new accounts must be approved by the local rep to insure no territorial conflicts.
